PhD :Development Economist
Dr. Wabiga is a development economist who is an associate research fellow at PADRI and a Lecturer of Economics at Makerere University School of Economics. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. He has over ten-years’ experience in economic and policy research, his interests being; Development policy analysis, Labor market analysis, strategy development, and Value chain analysis. He is passionate about private sector development and his most recent works have been on SME features and development in Africa with the Afrexim Bank in Cairo, strategy development for Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) and the Inter Government Authority on Development (IGAD).
